Our management board brings together representatives from across the buy side and sell side of the industry, helping guide JICMAIL’s role as a trusted and independent source of mail measurement.
Chris Combemale
JICMAIL Board Chair and Director of Policy and Public Affairs, DMAChris is the Chair of the JICMAIL Board and Director of Policy and Public Affairs of the DMA. Chris has over 35 years advertising and 1 to 1 marketing experience in Europe, the USA and Asia/Pacific including senior roles at client, agency and technology companies.
Chris launched his career in New York with Young & Rubicam. His 12 years at Young & Rubicam included founding the Wunderman office in Singapore in 1992 and managing the Wunderman office in Hong Kong.
Chris has taken a lead in industry issues including legislation, best practice and education. His industry roles include being Co-Chair of FEDMA and he sits on the boards of the Advertising Association, Asbof and CAP.
Mark Davies
Managing Director, Whistl Door Drop MediaMark is the Managing Director of Whistl and heads up their door drop business. Prior to becoming Managing Director, Mark had several key sales roles at the company, which he joined in 2003. Before this Mark spent 10 years seeing the world in the travel and leisure industry and has lived and worked in Santa Barbara, Boston, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Mark is President of ELMA (the European Letterbox Marketing Association) and he sits on the DMA Print Council.
Adam Crow
Partner – Head of Publishing UK, EssenceMediacomAdam is a highly experienced media professional with over 30 years in the publishing sector. Throughout his career, Adam has held pivotal Head of Publishing positions at four of the top 10 UK media agency groups, demonstrating a consistent ability to drive strategic growth and innovation within the industry. His extensive experience spans working with a diverse portfolio of leading brands, where he has consistently delivered impactful publishing strategies.
A strong advocate for robust measurement, industry standards, and accountability, Adam plays a significant role in shaping the future of media. He actively contributes to two key industry ABC Reporting Standard Groups (RSG) – the News brand and the Consumer Magazine brand RSG, which he chairs. Furthermore, Adam represents the IPA on the PAMCO & ABC Boards underscoring his commitment to driving best practices and transparency across the sector. This commitment to robust data and effectiveness aligns perfectly with JICMAIL’s mission.
Phil Ricketts
Wholesale Commercial Director, Royal Mail MarketReachPhilip has over 20 years’ experience working in a broad range of sales and marketing roles. During his career, Philip has held a number of roles in innovation, strategy and product development across the Royal Mail Group.
Currently Philip holds positions on the IPA’s advertising advisory board and DCA executive Board. He is also a Chartered Member of the CIM. His role at Marketreach focuses on the development and delivery of a range of strategic media growth programmes for the direct mail and door drop industry.
Graeme Griffiths MIPA
Director of Media Research, Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA)Graeme jointly leads the strategic direction of the IPA’s research agenda, including TouchPoints and the industry’s key benchmark surveys.
Graeme is a highly experienced media research and evaluation specialist with more than 25 years of experience working across the UK’s media measurement landscape, with senior roles spanning Ronin International, TNS, Kantar Media, Ipsos and the IPA. He has extensive expertise across industry currencies, and is a trusted adviser on research methodology, governance and best practice. As well as JICMAIL, Graeme also sits on the boards of ABC, ROUTE, PAMCo, JICPOPS and JICRIT along with many of their technical committees.
Graeme is also an experienced conference speaker and trainer.
