The Institute of Direct Marketing provides training in Direct Mail for those new to this discipline. There are two courses currently available:
IDM Award in Direct Mail
For those who are new to the profession, or to direct mail, our Award in Direct Mail will give you the skills to plan, create and implement direct mail as part of a wider integrated marketing campaign. Syllabus includes:

IDM Award for GDPR for Direct Mail
This qualification gives you the answers to the GDPR questions every marketer needs to know, with a special focus on the advantages direct mail brings to marketers under the GDPR.
This course has been developed in conjunction with the DMA Responsible Marketing Committee and the GDPR External Working Party, delivered by the IDM. Syllabus includes:
Background to the regulation – why it was needed
Profiling and alternatives to Consent
Accountability and Action Planning
